To Play in Royalty Roleplay, any member must have:
- Access to a clear and working microphone.
- A Discord account.
- Discord nickname must match the name of your character
Do not impersonate staff members in any way.
Any member in the community caught bullying or harassing other members, for any reason, may be removed from the community.
This also covers trolling, racism, homophobia, religious hate, discrimination (i.e.: gender, disabilities, etc.), and offensive language.
If your gang character is removed from a gang or you choose to leave, you must wait 14 days before joining or creating another gang with the same character.
Always prioritize story and fairness over outcome.
Players may not be taken hostage while they are inside any interaction menu, including but not limited to the clothing menu, barber menu, or tattoo shop menu.
- If you intend to take someone hostage at a clothing store (or similar location), you must wait until they exit the menu or initiate the interaction before they enter it.
- Forcing, exploiting, or abusing menu states to gain an advantage in a hostage situation is strictly prohibited.
- Using the Clothing/Interaction Menus to get out of a hostage situation is strictly prohibited. (Do not run into the area to hurry and use the menu)
• You are being chased or ambushed, and using your vehicle to escape or protect yourself is reasonable and proportional to the threat.
• You unintentionally hit someone while escaping a scene that has already been initiated—but this should still be minimal and not excessive.
Even in active situations, your actions should be realistic. Running someone over at 80 MPH and continuing like nothing happened is not acceptable. Vehicles are not battering rams. In real life, doing so could seriously injure or kill the driver. Treat it with that same logic.
Always ask yourself: “Would my character reasonably use their vehicle this way in real life?” If the answer is no, don’t do it.
RDM includes, but is not limited to:
• Killing or attacking someone without prior roleplay, dialogue, or a reasonable in-character reason.
• Walking up and shooting someone without warning, context, or any form of initiation.
• Engaging in a shootout over a minor altercation (e.g., bumping into someone, being called a name).
• Killing a player during an interaction that should have remained verbal or could have escalated more naturally through RP.
• Shooting someone for being in your gang turf without any attempt to interact, warn, or roleplay with them.
• Griefing a person or group repeatedly with no resolution to stop the beef/war is considered RDM.
• Clear verbal interaction — a full sentence warning, threat, or demand that sets the tone for potential escalation.
• A valid IC reason — such as ongoing beef, betrayal, gang rivalry, or prior RP history.
• Giving the opposing party a chance to react or respond. Immediate kill-on-sight without this opportunity is considered RDM.
This is a roleplay server — not Arena. Build your story, talk it out, escalate logically.
If your goal is to kill someone without RP, this is not the server for you.
NVL refers to situations where a character fails to show realistic fear or concern for their life when facing immediate danger or the threat of serious harm.
Your character is not invincible. If your life is clearly at risk, you are expected to roleplay accordingly and take actions that reflect self-preservation.
• Refusing to comply when a weapon is pointed at you at close range.
• Attempting to run, fight back, or make a call/text/radio when clearly outnumbered or held at gunpoint.
• Charging at someone with a firearm while unarmed.
• Ignoring threats to your life or acting overly aggressive in situations where fear would be reasonable.
• Walking into or staying inside active shootouts or hostage situations without regard for personal safety.
• Using emotes, voice chat, or stalling to “buy time” while in immediate danger.
• Talking or making threats while downed, unless medically realistic (e.g., you were shot in the leg and still conscious).
• Comply with demands when overwhelmed or unarmed.
• Avoid escalating situations where your life is clearly at risk.
• Use caution and awareness when entering dangerous areas.
• Roleplay injury and fear authentically when the situation calls for it.
When you respawn, you forget how you died and who killed you.
You also forget the 15 minutes leading up to your death.
Friends or witnesses may tell you what happened after the fact.
If you are treated by EMS or taken to Nancy at the hospital, you may remember what happened, though the details may be a little hazy.
If you force respawn without receiving medical care, you will forget the incident.
Do not immediately return to the conflict.
Give your character time to recover and avoid jumping straight back into the situation.
You cannot seek revenge or kill someone again over the same incident unless there's a new RP reason.
Once you're revived or respawned, that scene is considered over from your perspective.
Stay away from the killer and the scene for at least 40 minutes.
Don't bring up or continue the previous incident during that time.
If your group is wiped during a gang fight, you don't know the details of what happened or who was involved.
While you're downed or after respawning, you shouldn't discuss or pass along information about the incident.
Your character’s appearance should reflect realism, immersion, and appropriateness for their role or situation. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in warnings or staff action.
• Civilians may not wear police, EMS, military, or government-issued uniforms or gear — this includes vests, belts, badges, or outfits resembling official agencies. Impersonating public servants is strictly prohibited.
• You may wear a mask, but law enforcement has the right to stop and identify you. Refusing to remove your mask in public when requested may lead to arrest.
• Do not wear clothing that is bugged, invisible, or missing textures. This includes outfits that cause other players’ games to crash or significantly disrupt immersion.
• Your character may not have invisible limbs or body parts. If an outfit causes visual glitches, you must change immediately.
• Dress according to your role or profession. For example: Miners, sanitation workers, hunters, etc., should not be in formal wear or designer clothing while working.
• Employees of a business should appear professional and appropriate to their setting (e.g., cooks wearing aprons, dealership staff in business casual attire).
• Gang-affiliated/criminal characters should avoid dressing in a way that mimics law enforcement or emergency services.

• Being arrested, searched, or questioned by law enforcement.
• Being robbed, kidnapped, or attacked by other players.
• Losing items, weapons, or illegal goods due to an IC situation.
• A court proceeding, investigation, or IC interrogation.
• An ongoing scene (including while you are downed or unconscious).
• You must reconnect as soon as possible and return to the location where you left off.
• If you are unable to return immediately, you must notify staff in a ticket on Discord with a brief explanation and description of the scene.
• You are expected to resume the roleplay from where it left off once you return.
• If you are robbed, injured, killed, or taken hostage while AFK, you must resume the roleplay upon return as if you had been present the entire time. You may not void or rewind the scene because you were AFK.
• You should never go AFK in high-traffic areas, active crime scenes, public streets, or places where RP is actively occurring.
• The recommended safe places to go AFK are inside your apartment, home, or a private/secure location.
• Repeated or extended AFK behavior in public or active zones may be considered low-effort roleplay or even rule evasion, depending on context.
All illegal crafting benches are now considered public access points. To keep interactions fair and promote organic conflict, the following rules apply:
- If you approach a bench and it is already in use by an individual and/or group, you are allowed to press them.
(This includes intimidation, robbery, initiating conflict as part of the RP scenario)
- You may NOT camp a bench location
(Sitting on a bench, near a bench, waiting for someone to show up is NOT allowed)
- Conflict is only allowed when arriving or leaving.
(If you naturally come across another person while approaching or exiting the area, conflict can occur. You cannot stay in the area waiting for interactions.)
Taxing Benches:
- Gangs may officially claim ONE bench to tax.
- If your gang is taxing a bench, you cannot rob individuals at that bench.
(Taxing replaces robbery, you choose one or the other, not both.)
• Using any mod menu, cheat engine, or unauthorized third-party tools.
• Abusing bugs or glitches (e.g., duplication glitches, invisible clothing, broken animations, or bypassing scripts).
• Taking advantage of desync or server lag to avoid consequences or gain benefits.
• Exploiting server mechanics to bypass job cooldowns, robbery timers, or paychecks.
• Circumventing intended restrictions in the server economy, inventory systems, or illegal job progression.
• Knowingly benefiting from someone else’s exploit without reporting it to staff.
Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:
• Using a helicopter or plane to flee from a robbery or active crime scene.
• Airlifting accomplices, vehicles, or loot during or after a heist.
• Landing aircraft at illegal locations (e.g., drug fields, trap houses) to bypass traditional escape routes.
• Using aircraft to stalk or scout law enforcement during crimes.
• Landing aircraft in Bolingbroke to break out other players.
• Civilian use of aircraft for legal jobs (e.g., tour companies, flight school, roleplay charter services).
• Emergency services (e.g., PD Air-1, EMS Life Flight) in accordance with department SOPs.
• Staff-approved events or special roleplay scenarios.
-Clear Identification:
and/or custom emblems.
be representing their group for heists.
-Color and Clothing Enforcement:
all reds).
Civilians wearing similar colors cannot be harmed solely for color usage.
after a warning.
-Chain/Flag/Kutte Snatching:
off of person or /me snatches chain.
A gang may own a maximum of 2 businesses.
• Blood Contracts must clearly state that removal from the gang or betrayal will result in permanent death of the character.
• Blood Contracts CANNOT be voided, once the character agrees upon being bled into the gang, the blood contract is in effect. No contract buy outs or special considerations.
• Signed Copies of all blood contracts must be submitted to gang management for record keeping.
• An individual cannot join another gang when a BC is in place, even if the individual has "left" the gang and is waiting to be executed.
- Gangs may officially claim ONE bench to tax.
- If your gang is taxing a bench, you cannot rob individuals at that bench.
(Taxing replaces robbery, you choose one or the other, not both.)
Member Cooldown
- Members leaving a gang must observe a 14 day cooldown before joining another gang
- Cooldown does not begin until the gang leader or the member notifies gang management that they are leaving the gang.
Roster Requirements
Gang Owned Warehouses
- Gangs can now own more than one (1) warehouse
Claimed Turf
Each gang is limited to two (2) total turfs. No gang may claim, control, or defend more than two (2) turfs at any time. Any extra turfs must be released immediately.
- Main turf (HQ/Castle): This is your gangs main home. It must be declared in your gang application and cannot change without notifying Gang Management.
- Secondary Turf: Your gang may claim one (1) additional turf for expansion.
Castle Rule
Job Taxation Rules:
Taxation is permitted only within gang territory at material gathering points.
Maximum tax = 10% of gathered materials or earnings.
You may tax an individual once every 2 hours.
Taxation at PED turn-ins or refining locations is prohibited.
Conflict Initiation:
Vague threats such as "You're dead" or "See you around" are NOT valid reasons to start
shooting.
Engagement and Representation:
Gang Wars are capped at 5v5 engagements unless other terms are agreed on.
All gang members must wear full colors and identifiers during wars.
Law Enforcement Interference:
as the scene permits.
Cooldowns and Conflict Reset Rules:
30-minute cooldown after resuscitation or server reset before re-engaging.
7-day cooling-off when engaging a new gang.

Job Limitations:
• A character may hold no more than three (3) whitelisted jobs at one time. This includes any combination of government or business roles such as:
• Police Department (LSPD, BCSO)
• EMS / Pillbox
• Department of Justice
• Mechanic shops
• Restaurants (Cat Café, Burger Shot, Pizza This, etc.)
• Nightclubs or bars (e.g., Vanilla Unicorn)
• Car dealerships
• Employees of a car dealership may not also be employed as a mechanic, to avoid conflicts of interest.
• You may only work at one restaurant or food-based business at a time.
• You are not permitted to clock into multiple jobs simultaneously for paycheck farming. Abuse will result in termination and possible suspension.
• Each whitelisted business may have only one (1) Boss, one (1) Co-Owner.
• There is no restriction on the number of employees or lower ranks (e.g., manager, servers, security, staff).
• If a business is found to be exceeding the Boss/Co-Owner limit, the business may be subject to government repossession or revocation of its license.
• There may be only one major business per group. Example: Mechanic Shop, Restaurant, Club.
• You may not spray paint the interior or exterior of any government-owned building. This includes police stations, hospitals, courthouses, and city hall.
• Mechanic shops and food businesses may not be spray painted on the inside unless it is part of an approved RP scenario (e.g., vandalism) or has been explicitly permitted by the business owner for decorative purposes.
• Scenes should not be abused. They are a tool meant to enhance and support roleplay, not serve as permanent signage, advertisements, or graffiti.
• Creating cluttered or spammy scenes for the sake of aesthetics, trolling, or visual pollution may result in disciplinary action.
• There should not be more than 5 spray paints in a general given area.
Ownership Limits:
• Each group, gang, organization, or individual may own only one (1) gas station at a time.
• If an individual who owns a gas station joins a group that already owns one, one of the two gas stations must be sold within a reasonable time frame as determined by staff.
• Attempting to circumvent this rule by using alt characters or proxies to hold additional gas stations will be considered asset funneling and may result in repossession and disciplinary action.
• Government employees (including LSPD, BCSO, DOJ, and EMS) are not permitted to purchase or own a gas station. This avoids conflicts of interest and maintains professionalism within public service roles.
Violations may result in forced sale or administrative removal.
• Custom or imported PEDs are not permitted unless they have been vetted and whitelisted by Staff via a Purchase ticket.
Any unauthorized use will result in disciplinary action, including forced character deletion or temporary suspension.
/me usage:
• Use /me to display visible actions or details (e.g., /me has shaky hands, /me smells of alcohol, /me is bleeding from the chest).
• Do not read /me statements out loud in voice chat. They are visual roleplay tools, not verbal dialogue.
• Players are expected to acknowledge and respond to /me actions, especially when interacting with EMS, law enforcement, or DOJ. Ignoring valid /me roleplay is considered Fail RP.
• Do not use /me to express thoughts, emotions, or internal monologue (e.g., /me is feeling anxious or /me thinks about running). These are not visible to other characters and should not be used as justification for actions.
Use it responsibly and react appropriately when others use it with you.
• These locations are intended to be discovered naturally through in-character exploration, interactions, and development—not through shortcuts or OOC knowledge.
• Paying for or offering to sell location information, whether in-character or out-of-character, is considered metagaming and disrupts the progression of others.
• You may not advertise, leak, or distribute these locations via Discord, streams, or in-game methods.
Circumventing this process diminishes the experience for everyone and may result in a suspension or ban.
Examples of Low-Effort Roleplay include:
• Fleeing from police or escalating to violence during minor infractions (e.g., running from a routine traffic stop or opening fire over a speeding ticket).
• Initiating shootouts without proper buildup, dialogue, or escalation.
• Constantly committing crimes without any attempt at roleplay buildup or realistic consequences.
• Using motorcycles or supercars for every robbery, especially when done to avoid capture rather than to create meaningful RP.
• Ignoring injury RP or treating life-threatening situations as minor inconveniences.
• Baiting police or gangs into conflict just to initiate shootouts.
If your roleplay consists solely of violence, evasion, or farming payouts, without meaningful character depth or interaction, it will be considered low-effort—and may result in warnings, suspensions, or removal from the community.
• Voice recognition is not valid identification if the person has taken steps to conceal their identity.
• Even if you think you recognize their voice, you must have prior in-character context or visible clues to confirm their identity.
• This applies regardless of past interactions—outfit changes and masks reset assumptions unless proven through roleplay.
Examples of cop baiting include, but are not limited to:
• Doing burnouts, donuts, or revving loudly near officers for no IC reason.
• Driving aggressively or erratically past police checkpoints or active scenes.
• Circling crime scenes or hanging around PD events with no RP purpose.
• Taunting officers or intentionally violating traffic laws in front of them just to provoke a chase.
• Repeatedly inserting yourself into police RP scenarios without justification.
If you don’t have a reason to engage police through natural RP progression, then you shouldn’t be trying to bait them into responding.
NITRP includes, but is not limited to:
• Logging in solely to troll, provoke others, or create chaos.
• Constantly breaking character, stalling RP, or refusing to engage when approached.
• Treating the server like a PvP game or loot simulator rather than a roleplay environment.
• Ignoring RP opportunities in favor of grinding, avoiding consequences, or escalating every situation to violence.
• Failing to respond to /me or RP interactions from others without a valid reason.
Examples of Fail RP include, but are not limited to:
• Performing actions that are physically impossible or unrealistic (e.g., passing items through thick glass, walls, or fences such as prison or jail cell windows).
• Changing clothes or accessories mid-scenario (e.g., switching outfits during an active chase or shootout).
• Using items or mechanics in ways that would not be feasible in real life (e.g., pulling rifles from your pants with no bag).
• Refusing to roleplay injury or pretending to be fine after being shot, hit by a car, or involved in a crash.
• Ignoring /me or /do commands from other players—especially EMS, law enforcement, or judiciary personnel.
• Roleplaying completely out-of-era or supernatural characters (e.g., superheroes, zombies, vampires, etc.).
• Using AI-generated or unrealistic character portraits that do not reasonably represent your freemode character or break immersion.
Repeat violations may lead to escalating punishments, including temporary suspensions or permanent bans.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Using the F8 console command or external tools to change your FOV, especially to gain an advantage while aiming down sights or during combat.
• Modifying files, scripts, or using external overlays to increase visual awareness beyond what the default settings allow.
• Applying FOV changes that give you a wider or more elevated third-person perspective than what is normally achievable through in-game options.
Any unauthorized changes to FOV will result in disciplinary action, including possible bans. Keep your settings fair and within the bounds of the game’s default parameters.
Posting things like 'selling coins' or 'tokens for sale' is NOT permitted on birdy.
These are global, and are not to be sold to anyone or anywhere.
Prohibited modifications include, but are not limited to:
• Weaponized vehicles (e.g., hidden guns, mounted turrets, rocket launchers).
• Boost systems or NOS not approved through a legal tuner or in-character event.
• Bulletproof windows or vehicles.
• Sonar systems or any radar/thermal-type enhancements that reveal players, police, or entities beyond normal visibility.
• Underwater mechanics.
• Any suspension, speed, or handling modifications not available through in-city customization or tuning shops.
• Vehicles found to have illegal modifications will be confiscated on sight.
• If your vehicle has a prohibited mod, you must remove it immediately or report it to staff via ticket.
• Launching vehicles off mountains, buildings, or unrealistic jumps—even in off-road vehicles like the Draugur.
• Ocean dumping your vehicle to escape from law enforcement or hostile encounters (e.g., driving off piers, docks, or bridges to avoid capture).
• Driving street cars or sports cars (e.g., Sultan, Tempesta) up steep cliffs, hiking trails, or terrain they would not reasonably handle in real life.
• Using ramps or terrain exploits to gain unrealistic distance or access locations meant to be unreachable by standard vehicles.
• Repeatedly flipping, ramming, or abusing vehicle physics without roleplaying the damage or mechanical consequences.
Players may not intentionally ram, pit, or collide with another vehicle in an unrealistic, repeated, or abusive manner.
Vehicle contact must make sense within realistic RP and not be used as a primary weapon.
Not allowed:
- Repeated ramming
- High-speed intentional collisions
- Any vehicle contact done to troll, grief, or avoid proper RP
Allowed:
- Accidental bumps with proper RP
- Police PITs following pursuit guidelines
Unrealistic driving not only breaks immersion but can also be classified as fail RP or powergaming, and will result in disciplinary action.
Abuse of the paycheck system by staying clocked in while idle or engaging in unrelated activities is considered paycheck farming and will result in disciplinary action.
You may not remain clocked in while:
• Sitting idle in another location
• Participating in unrelated RP
• Committing crimes or engaging in non-work activities
• Law Enforcement (PD/BCSO)
• EMS Personnel
• Department of Justice (DOJ)
• Truckers, who must still be actively completing hauls while clocked in.
• Crown Properties, who must be actively selling homes.
• All EMS employees must wear appropriate uniforms while on duty to maintain professionalism and public recognition.
• EMS services are to be provided free of charge to all citizens. You may not charge for revives or medical treatment.
• EMS may sell bandages only. No other items from the EMS armory (e.g., medkits, clot packs, trauma kits) may be sold, traded, or given out.
• EMS may not employ active criminals or gang-affiliated individuals in any capacity.
• You are required to roleplay all injuries realistically, in line with the severity of the situation.
• Example: A car accident with visible trauma may require a limp or limited mobility afterward.
• ICU or extended hospital stays should result in visible and lasting symptoms for a reasonable duration.
• Failure to RP injuries, or immediately returning to normal behavior after serious trauma, will be considered fail RP and no intent to roleplay medical injuries.
Robberies conducted for personal gain are permitted only when supported by meaningful, story‑driven roleplay. Any situation where items are taken must meet the following standards:
- There must be clear roleplay development leading into the encounter — not random or opportunistic targeting
- The interaction must contribute to ongoing or future storyline progression
- Loot‑driven, low‑effort robberies are not allowed — you may not rob someone simply because you are unwilling to earn money through RP or server systems
- Cannot rob item(s) that were paid with IRL money. (Vanity Plates, DoubleXP Token, Birdy Token, Vehicle Token, Seasonal Melee Weapons, etc)
- Players should not carry items they are not willing to lose, as robberies with proper RP may result in item loss
- Cannot rob any identification/drivers cards, phone or radio
This policy ensures high‑quality criminal roleplay, fairness, and meaningful consequences for all parties involved.
• Looting food or drinks when your character is not hungry or thirsty.
• Taking materials or items from players (including law enforcement) without roleplay that supports why your character needs them.
• Looting an officer for 2 body armor and 5 magazines.
• Taking melee weapons or tasers from downed officers without a purpose tied to active roleplay.
• Looting in the middle of active scenes without proper initiation or justification.
• Holding up someone and robbing them with no prior roleplay reason or build up.
Robbing Law Enforcement
Criminals may rob law enforcement officers when supported by strong, story‑driven roleplay. These situations must meet the same standards expected in all hostile RP:
- Robbing an officer requires clear RP buildup — not random targeting or loot‑hunting
- Officers may be stripped of armor, weapons, and ammunition when the RP justifies it
- Certain items may not be taken, including GSR kits, testing tools, and other essential forensic equipment
- Randomly killing an officer solely to take equipment is not permitted
- Criminals must accept the risk of retaliation, investigations, and raids that may follow.
- Officers are expected to manage their loadouts responsibly; do not carry gear you are not prepared to lose
- Criminals are held to the same standard — no robbing simply because you don’t want to earn money through RP
This policy ensures fairness, accountability, and meaningful consequences for both criminals and law enforcement, while promoting immersive, story‑focused roleplay.
• You may not loot EMS or Los Santos Medical employees under any circumstance. This includes while they are downed, unconscious, or incapacitated. EMS are not part of combat roleplay and should not be treated as lootable entities.
Abuse of looting systems will face disciplinary actions.
Players are expected to take full responsibility for securing their belongings. Items left in vehicles are no longer protected; have some responsibility for your belongings. There does not need to be any prior roleplay to stealing from trunks. Garages exist, put your vehicle away or belongings in your vehicles away safely securing them.
No, you may not trunk check/steal items out of Police/EMS cars.
• You may not engage in any form of illegal activity while employed in a government or whitelisted role.
• You may not sell, give away, or trade government-issued equipment, weapons, vehicles, or access to restricted areas.
• You may not falsify documents, tamper with evidence, or misuse your position for personal or criminal gain.
• Any attempt to use your job or authority to assist criminals, gangs, or personal agendas will result in immediate removal from your position and further disciplinary action.
If you’re unsure whether a scenario might be considered corruption, assume it’s not allowed and open a support ticket for clarification.
If a player receives a temporary ban (non-permanent), they may submit a ban appeal by opening a ban appeal ticket. A staff member who was not involved in the original decision will review the situation impartially and determine whether the ban should be lifted, reduced, or upheld based on the circumstances.
If you are permanently banned on Discord, please fill out this form. If you don’t get a response, you aren’t unbanned.
Staff does not discuss the outcome of any tickets, including your friend’s ban. If a player is banned from Royalty RP, they must submit their own ban appeal. Friends, group members, or any third parties are not permitted to open appeals on someone else’s behalf. We do not discuss bans or disciplinary actions with anyone other than the banned individual.
Attempting to argue, appeal, or disrespect staff on behalf of another player is strictly prohibited and may result in further disciplinary action against those involved.
If a player has been permanently banned from the Discord and is unable to submit their own appeal, their ban will remain in effect. Please understand that you may not have full context or access to all information regarding their ban. For reasons of privacy and integrity.
We do not disclose disciplinary details to third parties, and all ban appeals must be submitted directly by the individual involved—no exceptions.
