1.1

To Play in Royalty Roleplay, any member must have:

  • Access to a clear and working microphone.
  • A Discord account.
  • Discord nickname must match the name of your character

2Common Sense Rules

2.1

Do not impersonate staff members in any way.

2.2
Do not lie to staff.

3Bullying/Harassment/Threats

3.1

Any member in the community caught bullying or harassing other members, for any reason, may be removed from the community.

This also covers trolling, racism, homophobia, religious hate, discrimination (i.e.: gender, disabilities, etc.), and offensive language.

3.2

Any threats made to another member will be taken seriously

Depending on the severity, law enforcement may become involved.
3.3
Releasing any information about a member of the community without their permission in any way relating to their real life is strictly prohibited.

4Third-Party Communications and Programs

4.1

You may not use any third-party programs to chat with other players whilst you are in the server, to include: Discord, Guilded, Skype, or any other chat software.

All communication must be kept in-game. Use of any third-party program to give yourself an advantage is considered metagaming and is prohibited.

5Advertising

5.1
Advertising of another server in any capacity is strictly prohibited.

6Ban Evading

6.1

If you are banned from the server of our Discord, you may not re-join the community using another account.

This is considered ban evading and is strictly prohibited.

7Unusual Roleplay

7.1

We have zero tolerance for any kind of unusual roleplay, to include:

Suicide roleplay, slavery roleplay, pregnancy roleplay, domestic abuse, sexual assault, torture, mutilation or vigilante roleplay. If you think your roleplay could be considered unusual, open a support ticket to ask Staff if the roleplay is permitted.

8Dictating Roleplay

8.1

Everyone plays their characters' differently. Do not dictate how someone else should roleplay just because you would do something or handle a situation differently.

Remember to be open-minded with other people. Some of the best characters come from people playing off the uniqueness of other people's roleplay.

9Roleplay Boundaries & Player Rights

9.1

If you find yourself in a roleplay scenario that makes you uncomfortable, you are fully within your rights to leave the scene.

No one may force you to stay in a situation that crosses your personal boundaries. If someone attempts to pressure or coerce you into continuing, you have every right to disengage. Should the situation escalate or you feel the need to report the incident, you are encouraged to do so.

10Asset Sharing/Character Farming

10.1

You may not share assets between your characters. This includes, but is not limited to:

Money, cars, and houses. You may not transfer assets to someone else if your character is permanently being killed or dead.

11Traffic Signals

11.1
Red traffic lights may be treated as stop signs. You must stop, look left and right, and then proceed with caution. Your stop should be for no less than 5 seconds.

12Towing

12.1

Whilst doing their duties, players should not harass, attack, or interact (in a criminal manner) with tow operators.

Tow operators should not be hindered from doing their jobs unless you are actively involved in the scene (i.e.: if you are boosting and steal a police vehicle because yours has been disabled, this is fine. In contrast, if you, as a random person, steal a police vehicle involved in the scene because it is sitting there or so the officer is unable to transport the criminal(s), you are breaking the rules.).

13Military Equipment

13.1

You may not use any type of military equipment or vehicles unless approved by a member of the Admin team.

This includes but is not limited to: weapons, military aircrafts, or military vehicles.

14General

14.1
Cooking meth in player owned properties is allowed.
14.2

You may only own ONE Camper/Journey/Journey Custom per character.

Failure to follow this will result in removal of the vehicle and you will not be compensated for your items in the process.
14.3
Fireworks Launcher can not be used for harm.
14.4

Do not DM staff about any server related things, open a ticket that you see best fit for you.

This includes (but is definitely not limited to): Asking about your application (or a friend’s), Reporting rule breaks, Telling us to check your ticket, Or just... anything staff-related.

15Video & Audio

15.1

Resolution Restrictions:

Players must use their monitor’s native resolution and aspect ratio. Stretch resolutions or any custom resolutions that distort in-game models or field of view are strictly prohibited.
15.2

Sound Modifications:

Enhanced sound packs that make footsteps or other in-game sounds louder or easier to detect are not allowed.
15.3

Visual Enhancements:

Bullet tracers or any visual effects that make bullets easier to track are not permitted. Any on-screen effects triggered by player deaths, such as kill indicators, blood overlays, or kill confirmations, are not allowed.
15.4

General Modding Policy:

Any client-side modification that provides a competitive advantage, alters the intended gameplay experience, or disrupts immersion is forbidden. This includes unauthorized shaders and/or texture packs.

16Dress Code

16.1

Wear appropriate clothing for the job.

Example 1: searching trash bins, wearing gloves and junky clothing. Example 2: mining rocks, wearing PPE vests and a hard hat.
16.2

Base game goggles are BANNED.

ADD SHITTER FIT DO AND DONT LINK HERE

17Heists/Robberies/Pursuits

17.1
  • If during a heist/robbery/pursuit, you crash out of the server, the roleplay is then paused awaiting your return.
  • Let’s be clear, if you are constantly crashing during a roleplay scenario and you are found to be doing this purposely, you will be banned.
17.2

Heists and robberies may not be initiated within 30 minutes before or after a server restart (tsunami).

This means you are prohibited from starting a robbery during the 30-minute window leading up to a scheduled restart, as well as within the first 30 minutes following the server coming back online.
17.3

You must wait at least 30 minutes between robberies.

House robberies have their own cooldown, so you do not need to follow the 30 minute cooldown.
17.4

Exchanging payment or items for hostages is strictly prohibited.

While you may request reasonable items during negotiations (e.g., food, med kits, or armor), you may not demand or offer weapons, vehicles, or police equipment. Additionally, you may not offer compensation to a hostage or demand payment in exchange for their release.
17.5
ATM robberies may be conducted without a hostage.
17.6
You may not use members of your gang, group, friends and or employees of your business as a hostage.

18Bank Truck Heists

18.1

A hostage is not required to initiate a Bank Truck heist.

However, players should understand that law enforcement is permitted to treat these heists as shoot-on-sight (SOS) situations if a hostage is not present.
18.2

Bringing a hostage adds value to the scene and encourages longer, more dynamic roleplay — it is strongly encouraged for enhanced RP but not mandatory.

You are responsible for the consequences of how you plan your heist. Choosing to go in without leverage (like a hostage) may escalate the scene quickly and violently.
18.3

If no hostage is involved, expect a heightened and immediate armed response from law enforcement.

The absence of a hostage removes the opportunity for negotiations, and LEOs are not obligated to de-escalate or delay engagement.

19Breaching/ Third- Partying Heists

19.1

Breaching/ Third-Partying Heists refers to interfering in an active heist (e.g., bank, store, jewelry, bank, Paleto, Bobcat) that your group did not initiate.

While breaching is permitted under specific conditions, it must follow strict roleplay guidelines to preserve scene quality and realism.
19.2

Breachers must be clearly identifiable.

You may not wear a mask or fully conceal your identity unless it is with your gang/ group’s color flag when breaching. This ensures the roleplay can continue after the breach and promotes accountability.
19.3

There must be a valid RP reason for the breach.

Examples include: Prior in-character conflict with the group, Ongoing beef or turf war, a member of your group is being held hostage, retaliation from a previous encounter.
19.4
Breaching purely for loot, chaos, or random PVP is not allowed.
19.5
No OOC coordination to time breaches or “team up” with other groups mid-heist.

20Gang Characters

20.1

Players are only permitted to have one active gang-affiliated character at a time.

This ensures that gang interactions, rivalries, and conflicts remain fair and unbiased.
20.2
You may not create or use an alternate character to join a second gang, gather information, or involve yourself in gang activities through another identity.
20.3

If your gang character is removed from a gang or you choose to leave, you must wait 14 days before joining or creating another gang with the same character.

20.4

If you wish to leave your gang permanently, you must do so through roleplay (e.g., exile, retirement, or CK ((character kill)) if agreed upon)

you may not rejoin or be involved with that gang again unless cleared by Staff.
20.5
Violation of this rule is considered character farming or metagaming and may result in removal from your gang and disciplinary action.

21Out-Of-Character

21.1

Stay immersed. If it cannot be explained in-character, it should not be said at all.

Royalty Roleplay is a fully in-character environment. You may not go OOC for any reason while in the city. All support issues, questions, or concerns must be handled by opening a ticket in the Discord. Using real-world references or terms that break immersion is considered breaking character and will result in disciplinary action.
21.2

Examples of breaking character Include, but are not limited to:

Referring to your hardware or setup (e.g., “keyboard,” “monitor,” “PC,” “headset”). Calling staff members “gods” or “the government.” Referring to your alt character as a “cousin” or making any reference that links your characters. Mentioning streaming, recording, or using the term “bodycam,” “dashcam,” “security feed” is prohibited. Using phrases like “in my head”, “nightmares”, “gremlins/goblins/demons” or making any statement that breaks the fourth wall by referencing yourself or your real-life situation.

22Character Creation

22.1

Alternate characters must be completely separate from one another.

They may not share assets, storylines, jobs, affiliations, or relationships of any kind.
22.2

You may not refer to one of your characters as the “cousin,” “sibling,” or family member of another.

Your characters may not be related in any way, even indirectly.
22.3

Metagaming between characters or using one character to benefit another is strictly prohibited

This will be treated as character farming or powergaming.
22.4

Only the player who created the character has the authority to perma-kill (CK) or retire that character.

If you choose to perma-kill your character, they must be fully deleted once their final roleplay scenario concludes.
22.5

All character names must be realistic, non-celebrity, and free of offensive, vulgar, or discriminatory language.

Use names that would exist in real life—if it wouldn’t be on a driver’s license, don’t use it here.

23Metagaming

23.1

Metagaming is defined as using information your character did not learn through in-character (IC) means to influence decisions, gain an advantage, or progress roleplay. It is strictly prohibited and considered a serious rule violation.

Metagaming includes, but is not limited to:
23.2

Using information obtained outside of the game

(e.g., from Twitch streams, Discord chats, YouTube, or OOC conversations) to make IC decisions or confront other players.
23.3

Communicating through third-party platforms

(e.g., Discord voice calls, group chats, party chats) during an active RP scene to coordinate actions, give callouts, or relay information your character couldn’t realistically know.
23.4

Transferring knowledge or information between your own characters.

Each character must be treated as a separate entity with no shared memory, assets, or contacts.
23.5

Using someone’s /id name tag or item transfer prompt to identify them

Especially if they are masked or otherwise disguised.
23.6

Identifying a masked individual by voice alone is not allowed unless:

You’ve had repeated, recent in-character exposure to their voice while unmasked, and they are wearing recognizable clothing or accessories you’ve seen them wear frequently in the past.
23.7

Using voice changers or mods is permitted, but they must sound somewhat realistic and not be used to abuse identification rules.

Your character may only know what they’ve personally experienced, been told IC, or learned through proper in-game interactions. Blurring OOC and IC knowledge breaks immersion and will lead to disciplinary action.

24Powergaming

24.1

Powergaming refers to using your character’s abilities or in-game mechanics in an unrealistic, unfair, or one-sided manner to gain an advantage—often at the expense of immersion, fairness, or the roleplay experience of others. Powergaming prioritizes “winning” over storytelling, and it will not be t

Examples of Powergaming include, but are not limited to:
24.2

Emotes

Spamming emotes (e.g., /e passout3) to dodge bullets, avoid tasing, or exploit movement mechanics. Using emotes to hide or glitch into unreachable or non-accessible areas.
24.3

Forcing actions on others through /me without giving them a chance to respond

(e.g., /me stabs you in the neck and kills you with no time to react).
24.4

Refusing to acknowledge injury or pain when harmed

(e.g., getting shot and immediately running full speed or returning fire).
24.5

Taking out weapons or items in unrealistic ways

(e.g., pulling out a rifle while handcuffed or from swim trunks with no bag).
24.6

Joining criminal groups or jobs solely to farm

This includes rep, materials, or money without actively participating in the RP.
24.7

Using knowledge of job mechanics or scripts to exploit or camp illegal jobs

Such as hovering over a known drug location to intercept others.
24.8

Forcing people to give up all of their money, robbing banks or businesses without actual roleplay effort

Or taking excessive loot beyond what would be needed for the scene.
24.9

Lockpicking/robbing while someone is actively typing in /me or other RP actions.

Using /me or /do to lie about factual game mechanics (e.g., /me has no ID on them when they clearly do).
24.10

Dragging or seating someone repeatedly without giving them a chance to respond

Especially in non-LEO interactions.
24.11

Pulling a car out of the garage during an active pursuit.

If you are out of the chase completely, you may pull out a car, you may NOT pull out a car and return to the same scene.
24.12

Using unrealistic super strength actions

(e.g., flipping cars with bare hands or dragging multiple people solo without explanation).
24.13

Using game animations

(e.g., grabbing cash or changing outfits) to mask or delay being attacked unrealistically.
24.14

Dressing as emergency personnel

To mislead others or gain access to restricted areas without approved RP.
24.15

Looting or moving through scenes

while invisible or using third-party tools to avoid detection.
24.16
Respawning before you can be robbed/looted during an active scene.
24.17

All players must allow for back-and-forth roleplay. If the other party cannot reasonably respond to counter your action, it's likely powergaming.

Always prioritize story and fairness over outcome.

24.18

Hostage Rule – Clothing/Interaction Menus

Players may not be taken hostage while they are inside any interaction menu, including but not limited to the clothing menu, barber menu, or tattoo shop menu.

- If you intend to take someone hostage at a clothing store (or similar location), you must wait until they exit the menu or initiate the interaction before they enter it.

- Forcing, exploiting, or abusing menu states to gain an advantage in a hostage situation is strictly prohibited.

- Using the Clothing/Interaction Menus to get out of a hostage situation is strictly prohibited. (Do not run into the area to hurry and use the menu)

25Vehicle Death Match (VDM)

25.1

VDM is attacking, injuring, or killing another player using a vehicle without proper initiation, reason, or roleplay context. This is a serious rule violation and is considered low-effort, immersion-breaking behavior. You may not:

  • Drive into or run over another player.
  • Swerve into pedestrians or opposing vehicles for no roleplay reason.
  • Use a vehicle as your primary weapon to initiate conflict.
  • Attempt to "finish off" a downed player with your car.
  • Repeatedly ram law enforcement or player vehicles to disable them.
  • Use a vehicle to block doorways, pin players against walls, or trap someone inside a business or scene unfairly.

25.2

You may use your vehicle defensively if:

•  You are being chased or ambushed, and using your vehicle to escape or protect yourself is reasonable and proportional to the threat.

•  You unintentionally hit someone while escaping a scene that has already been initiated—but this should still be minimal and not excessive.

25.3

If no interaction, conversation, or story has been developed, and you immediately resort to using your vehicle as a weapon, it’s VDM.

Even in active situations, your actions should be realistic. Running someone over at 80 MPH and continuing like nothing happened is not acceptable. Vehicles are not battering rams. In real life, doing so could seriously injure or kill the driver. Treat it with that same logic.

Always ask yourself: “Would my character reasonably use their vehicle this way in real life?” If the answer is no, don’t do it.

26Random Death Match (RDM)

26.1

RDM refers to injuring or killing another player without proper cause, build-up, or clear in-character initiation. It disrupts roleplay, undermines storytelling, and removes opportunities for interaction.

RDM includes, but is not limited to:

•  Killing or attacking someone without prior roleplay, dialogue, or a reasonable in-character reason.

•  Walking up and shooting someone without warning, context, or any form of initiation.

•  Engaging in a shootout over a minor altercation (e.g., bumping into someone, being called a name).

•  Killing a player during an interaction that should have remained verbal or could have escalated more naturally through RP.

•  Shooting someone for being in your gang turf without any attempt to interact, warn, or roleplay with them.

•  Griefing a person or group repeatedly with no resolution to stop the beef/war is considered RDM.

26.2

Proper roleplay initiation must include:

•  Clear verbal interaction — a full sentence warning, threat, or demand that sets the tone for potential escalation.

•  A valid IC reason — such as ongoing beef, betrayal, gang rivalry, or prior RP history.

•  Giving the opposing party a chance to react or respond. Immediate kill-on-sight without this opportunity is considered RDM.

26.3

RDM is not “shoot first, justify later.”

This is a roleplay server — not Arena. Build your story, talk it out, escalate logically.

If your goal is to kill someone without RP, this is not the server for you.

27Not Valuing Life (NVL)

27.1

NVL refers to situations where a character fails to show realistic fear or concern for their life when facing immediate danger or the threat of serious harm.

Your character is not invincible. If your life is clearly at risk, you are expected to roleplay accordingly and take actions that reflect self-preservation.

27.2

Examples of NVL include, but are not limited to:

•  Refusing to comply when a weapon is pointed at you at close range.

•  Attempting to run, fight back, or make a call/text/radio when clearly outnumbered or held at gunpoint.

•  Charging at someone with a firearm while unarmed.

•  Ignoring threats to your life or acting overly aggressive in situations where fear would be reasonable.

•  Walking into or staying inside active shootouts or hostage situations without regard for personal safety.

•  Using emotes, voice chat, or stalling to “buy time” while in immediate danger.

•  Talking or making threats while downed, unless medically realistic (e.g., you were shot in the leg and still conscious).

27.3

You are expected to:

•  Comply with demands when overwhelmed or unarmed.

•  Avoid escalating situations where your life is clearly at risk.

•  Use caution and awareness when entering dangerous areas.

•  Roleplay injury and fear authentically when the situation calls for it.

27.4

If your character wouldn’t survive the situation in real life, they shouldn’t act like a superhero in RP.

28New Life Rule (NLR)

28.1

Memory Loss Upon Respawn

When you respawn, you forget how you died and who killed you.

You also forget the 15 minutes leading up to your death.

28.2

Gaining Knowledge After Respawn

Friends or witnesses may tell you what happened after the fact.

If you are treated by EMS or taken to Nancy at the hospital, you may remember what happened, though the details may be a little hazy.

If you force respawn without receiving medical care, you will forget the incident.

28.3

Behavior After Revival

Do not immediately return to the conflict.

Give your character time to recover and avoid jumping straight back into the situation.

28.4

Revenge

You cannot seek revenge or kill someone again over the same incident unless there's a new RP reason.

Once you're revived or respawned, that scene is considered over from your perspective.

28.5

Duration

Stay away from the killer and the scene for at least 40 minutes.

Don't bring up or continue the previous incident during that time.

28.6

Gang Conflicts

If your group is wiped during a gang fight, you don't know the details of what happened or who was involved.

While you're downed or after respawning, you shouldn't discuss or pass along information about the incident.

29Clothing & Appearance Guidelines

29.1

Your character’s appearance should reflect realism, immersion, and appropriateness for their role or situation. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in warnings or staff action.

•  Civilians may not wear police, EMS, military, or government-issued uniforms or gear — this includes vests, belts, badges, or outfits resembling official agencies. Impersonating public servants is strictly prohibited.

•  You may wear a mask, but law enforcement has the right to stop and identify you. Refusing to remove your mask in public when requested may lead to arrest.

•  Do not wear clothing that is bugged, invisible, or missing textures. This includes outfits that cause other players’ games to crash or significantly disrupt immersion.

•  Your character may not have invisible limbs or body parts. If an outfit causes visual glitches, you must change immediately.

•  Dress according to your role or profession. For example: Miners, sanitation workers, hunters, etc., should not be in formal wear or designer clothing while working.

•  Employees of a business should appear professional and appropriate to their setting (e.g., cooks wearing aprons, dealership staff in business casual attire).

•  Gang-affiliated/criminal characters should avoid dressing in a way that mimics law enforcement or emergency services.

29.2

Your outfit is part of your character’s story. Use clothing to support the realism of your role, not to confuse others, avoid identification, or troll.

30Combat Logging

30.1

Combat logging is intentionally disconnecting from the server during an active roleplay situation to avoid consequences, interactions, or the potential loss of items. This is a serious violation of server rules and undermines the integrity of roleplay. You may not log out of the game to avoid:

•  Being arrested, searched, or questioned by law enforcement.

•  Being robbed, kidnapped, or attacked by other players.

•  Losing items, weapons, or illegal goods due to an IC situation.

•  A court proceeding, investigation, or IC interrogation.

•  An ongoing scene (including while you are downed or unconscious).

30.2

If you crash, disconnect, or are forced out of the game unintentionally:

•  You must reconnect as soon as possible and return to the location where you left off.

•  If you are unable to return immediately, you must notify staff in a ticket on Discord with a brief explanation and description of the scene.

•  You are expected to resume the roleplay from where it left off once you return.

30.3

Combat logging to avoid consequences is never acceptable Regardless of the situation. Repeated offenses will result in escalating punishments, up to and including permanent removal from the community.

31Away-from-keyboard (AFK)

31.1

Going AFK is entirely your responsibility. If you step away from your keyboard while your character is in the city, you do so at your own risk.

•  If you are robbed, injured, killed, or taken hostage while AFK, you must resume the roleplay upon return as if you had been present the entire time. You may not void or rewind the scene because you were AFK.

•  You should never go AFK in high-traffic areas, active crime scenes, public streets, or places where RP is actively occurring.

•  The recommended safe places to go AFK are inside your apartment, home, or a private/secure location.

•  Repeated or extended AFK behavior in public or active zones may be considered low-effort roleplay or even rule evasion, depending on context.

31.2

Do not use AFK status as an excuse to avoid interactions or consequences. If you’re in the city, you’re expected to be available to engage in roleplay.

32Criminal Limits for Robberies

32.1

All criminal activity is limited to a group of 5.

32.2

Illegal Bench Interaction

All illegal crafting benches are now considered public access points. To keep interactions fair and promote organic conflict, the following rules apply:

- If you approach a bench and it is already in use by an individual and/or group, you are allowed to press them.

(This includes intimidation, robbery, initiating conflict as part of the RP scenario)

- You may NOT camp a bench location

(Sitting on a bench, near a bench, waiting for someone to show up is NOT allowed)

- Conflict is only allowed when arriving or leaving.

(If you naturally come across another person while approaching or exiting the area, conflict can occur. You cannot stay in the area waiting for interactions.)

Taxing Benches:

- Gangs may officially claim ONE bench to tax.

- If your gang is taxing a bench, you cannot rob individuals at that bench.

(Taxing replaces robbery, you choose one or the other, not both.)

33Exploiting

33.1

Exploiting refers to the use of unintended game mechanics, glitches, bugs, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage. This is strictly prohibited and will result in severe disciplinary action. This includes, but is not limited to:

•  Using any mod menu, cheat engine, or unauthorized third-party tools.

•  Abusing bugs or glitches (e.g., duplication glitches, invisible clothing, broken animations, or bypassing scripts).

•  Taking advantage of desync or server lag to avoid consequences or gain benefits.

•  Exploiting server mechanics to bypass job cooldowns, robbery timers, or paychecks.

•  Circumventing intended restrictions in the server economy, inventory systems, or illegal job progression.

•  Knowingly benefiting from someone else’s exploit without reporting it to staff.

33.2

If you discover a bug or exploit, you are required to report it immediately by opening a ticket in the Discord. Failing to report known exploits—or using them intentionally—will result in a ban.

33.3

Exploiting is considered one of the most serious offenses in Royalty Roleplay and will result in permanent removal from the server in most cases.

34Helicopter and Planes

34.1

The use of aircraft for heists, robberies, or any form of criminal getaway is strictly prohibited. This includes helicopters, planes, jets, or any aerial vehicle.

Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

•  Using a helicopter or plane to flee from a robbery or active crime scene.

•  Airlifting accomplices, vehicles, or loot during or after a heist.

•  Landing aircraft at illegal locations (e.g., drug fields, trap houses) to bypass traditional escape routes.

•  Using aircraft to stalk or scout law enforcement during crimes.

•  Landing aircraft in Bolingbroke to break out other players.

34.2

Permitted uses:

•  Civilian use of aircraft for legal jobs (e.g., tour companies, flight school, roleplay charter services).

•  Emergency services (e.g., PD Air-1, EMS Life Flight) in accordance with department SOPs.

•  Staff-approved events or special roleplay scenarios.

34.3

Unauthorized use of aircraft in connection with criminal activity will be treated as powergaming or fail RP and may result in a suspension or ban. Gang Rules

35Gang Rules

35.1

Gang Identity, Colors, and Representation

-Clear Identification:

  • All gangs must have distinctive identifiers: specific clothing combinations, colors,

and/or custom emblems.

  • Members must wear their gang colors when participating in wars, but are not required to

be representing their group for heists.

-Color and Clothing Enforcement:

  • Whitelisted gangs may claim a distinct color, but may not claim entire color families (e.g.,

all reds).

Civilians wearing similar colors cannot be harmed solely for color usage.

  • Exclusive gang-branded clothing (custom chains, tattoos, flags, kuttes) may be enforced

after a warning.

-Chain/Flag/Kutte Snatching:

  • Rival gang items may be taken during active RP conflicts. For example- /me cuts kutte

off of person or /me snatches chain.

  • Stolen items must be roleplayed as retrievable and may not be permanently stored.
35.2

Businesses

A gang may own a maximum of 2 businesses.

35.3

Blood Contracts or Character Kill Contracts

•  Blood Contracts must clearly state that removal from the gang or betrayal will result in permanent death of the character.

•  Blood Contracts CANNOT be voided, once the character agrees upon being bled into the gang, the blood contract is in effect. No contract buy outs or special considerations.

•  Signed Copies of all blood contracts must be submitted to gang management for record keeping.

•  An individual cannot join another gang when a BC is in place, even if the individual has "left" the gang and is waiting to be executed.

35.4

Taxing Benches:

- Gangs may officially claim ONE bench to tax.

- If your gang is taxing a bench, you cannot rob individuals at that bench.

(Taxing replaces robbery, you choose one or the other, not both.)

35.5

Membership Guidelines and Roster Management

Member Cooldown

- Members leaving a gang must observe a 14 day cooldown before joining another gang

- Cooldown does not begin until the gang leader or the member notifies gang management that they are leaving the gang.

Roster Requirements

  • Maintain at least 5 active bled-in members.
  • If less than 5 members are active within a 30 day period, this is cause for Gang Management to disband the gang with some exceptions (i.e holidays)
  • Max Allowed: 35 rostered members. (Mixture of bled in members and hang arounds)
  • Members must ALL be active to still take a spot on a gang roster. Leaders are responsible for making sure roster spots are filled with only active members.
  • Hangarounds must be listed on the roster
  • A player MUST have a minimum of 24 hours of city playtime in order to be considered a hangaround for a gang. This is to show the individual is committed to the city before joining any gang. Players can check playtime via #bot-commands channel in the RoyaltyRP discord.

35.6

Gang Turf, Territory Rules, and Castle Doctrine

Gang Owned Warehouses

- Gangs can now own more than one (1) warehouse

Claimed Turf

Each gang is limited to two (2) total turfs. No gang may claim, control, or defend more than two (2) turfs at any time. Any extra turfs must be released immediately.

- Main turf (HQ/Castle): This is your gangs main home. It must be declared in your gang application and cannot change without notifying Gang Management.

- Secondary Turf: Your gang may claim one (1) additional turf for expansion.

Castle Rule

  • Unlimited defenders may protect gang hides and HQ area.
  • Castle Law applies to ALL gangs, Whitelisted AND Non-Whitelisted
  • During an active scene, gang members CANNOT lure another gang to their HQ area/claimed turf, in order to claim castle law of unlimited defenders. This is considered abuse of this rule.
  • Castle Law only applies for TRUE block pushes.
  • Only the individuals already on the turf when the opposing gang initiates the block push may act as defenders under Castle law
  • Gang members who are off-turf, outside the area, or otherwise not present when the push begins, cannot be called in for backup to
  • gain "unlimited defenders".

Job Taxation Rules:

Taxation is permitted only within gang territory at material gathering points.

Maximum tax = 10% of gathered materials or earnings.

You may tax an individual once every 2 hours.

Taxation at PED turn-ins or refining locations is prohibited.

35.7

Conflict Rules, War Procedures, and Engagement

Conflict Initiation:

  • Conflicts must be justified by actual roleplay escalation.

Vague threats such as "You're dead" or "See you around" are NOT valid reasons to start

shooting.

  • Kill on Sight is not permitted unless it is an agreed upon war term.
  • Clear verbal hostility must be established through RP.

Engagement and Representation:

Gang Wars are capped at 5v5 engagements unless other terms are agreed on.

All gang members must wear full colors and identifiers during wars.

  • Hangarounds may NOT participate in official wars unless terms are agreed upon in war.

Law Enforcement Interference:

  • Upon arrival of law enforcement at active conflict scenes, gangs must disengage as soon

as the scene permits.

  • Looting bodies after law enforcement arrives will be treated as fail RP and punished.

Cooldowns and Conflict Reset Rules:

30-minute cooldown after resuscitation or server reset before re-engaging.

  • 14-day cooling-off period between repeat wars with the same gang.

7-day cooling-off when engaging a new gang.

36Employment

36.1

In order to promote fair opportunity and realistic workforce distribution, Royalty Roleplay enforces the following rules regarding employment and whitelisted job limits:

Job Limitations:

•  A character may hold no more than three (3) whitelisted jobs at one time. This includes any combination of government or business roles such as:

•  Police Department (LSPD, BCSO)

•  EMS / Pillbox

•  Department of Justice

•  Mechanic shops

•  Restaurants (Cat Café, Burger Shot, Pizza This, etc.)

•  Nightclubs or bars (e.g., Vanilla Unicorn)

•  Car dealerships

36.2

Job-Specific Restrictions:

•  Employees of a car dealership may not also be employed as a mechanic, to avoid conflicts of interest.

•  You may only work at one restaurant or food-based business at a time.

•  You are not permitted to clock into multiple jobs simultaneously for paycheck farming. Abuse will result in termination and possible suspension.

36.3

Business Structure Rules:

•  Each whitelisted business may have only one (1) Boss, one (1) Co-Owner.

•  There is no restriction on the number of employees or lower ranks (e.g., manager, servers, security, staff).

•  If a business is found to be exceeding the Boss/Co-Owner limit, the business may be subject to government repossession or revocation of its license.

•  There may be only one major business per group. Example: Mechanic Shop, Restaurant, Club.

36.4

Working multiple jobs must be reasonable and reflect your character’s available time and roleplay capabilities. Hoarding roles for perks or income is not permitted. All employment should be supported by active in-city participation.

37Spray Painting/ Scene Usage

37.1

•  You may not spray paint the interior or exterior of any government-owned building. This includes police stations, hospitals, courthouses, and city hall.

•  Mechanic shops and food businesses may not be spray painted on the inside unless it is part of an approved RP scenario (e.g., vandalism) or has been explicitly permitted by the business owner for decorative purposes.

•  Scenes should not be abused. They are a tool meant to enhance and support roleplay, not serve as permanent signage, advertisements, or graffiti.

•  Creating cluttered or spammy scenes for the sake of aesthetics, trolling, or visual pollution may result in disciplinary action.

•  There should not be more than 5 spray paints in a general given area.

37.2

Use scenes to tell a story, not to break immersion. All scene placements should be purposeful, contextual, and roleplay driven.

38Ownable Stores (Gas Stations)

38.1

To maintain economic balance and fair access to passive income opportunities, the following restrictions apply to gas station ownership:

Ownership Limits:

•  Each group, gang, organization, or individual may own only one (1) gas station at a time.

•  If an individual who owns a gas station joins a group that already owns one, one of the two gas stations must be sold within a reasonable time frame as determined by staff.

•  Attempting to circumvent this rule by using alt characters or proxies to hold additional gas stations will be considered asset funneling and may result in repossession and disciplinary action.

38.2

Employment Restrictions:

•  Government employees (including LSPD, BCSO, DOJ, and EMS) are not permitted to purchase or own a gas station. This avoids conflicts of interest and maintains professionalism within public service roles.

38.3

Gas stations are meant to promote business RP and territory-based economics, not serve as hoarded assets.

Violations may result in forced sale or administrative removal.

39Whitelisted PEDs

39.1

Rules Regarding PEDs:

•  Custom or imported PEDs are not permitted unless they have been vetted and whitelisted by Staff via a Purchase ticket.

39.2

Using unapproved PEDs can interfere with game performance, cause visual bugs, and reduce immersion for others.

Any unauthorized use will result in disciplinary action, including forced character deletion or temporary suspension.

40Misuse of /me

40.1

The /me command is intended to enhance roleplay by describing physical actions, traits, or conditions that cannot be expressed through in-game animations or mechanics.

/me usage:

•  Use /me to display visible actions or details (e.g., /me has shaky hands, /me smells of alcohol, /me is bleeding from the chest).

•  Do not read /me statements out loud in voice chat. They are visual roleplay tools, not verbal dialogue.

•  Players are expected to acknowledge and respond to /me actions, especially when interacting with EMS, law enforcement, or DOJ. Ignoring valid /me roleplay is considered Fail RP.

•  Do not use /me to express thoughts, emotions, or internal monologue (e.g., /me is feeling anxious or /me thinks about running). These are not visible to other characters and should not be used as justification for actions.

40.2

/me is a tool to support realism and immersion.

Use it responsibly and react appropriately when others use it with you.

41Illegal Content on Social Media

41.1

Posting about drugs, weapons, criminal activity, dead bodies, or any other illegal content on in-city social media platforms is strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

•  Photos or text referencing drug possession, sales, or locations.

•  Showing off illegal firearms or attachments.

•  Bragging about murders, shootouts, or body dumps.

•  Broadcasting illegal activity in progress or taunting law enforcement with criminal posts.

41.2

Using social media as a platform for illegal glorification or trolling breaks immersion and is considered Fail RP.

First offenses may result in a suspension; repeated or severe offenses may result in an immediate ban. Keep social media RP realistic and appropriate.

42Disclosing Illegal Locations

42.1

Players are not allowed to buy, sell, or trade information about the location of drug spots, money laundering, illegal crafting benches, or any concealed criminal operations

•  These locations are intended to be discovered naturally through in-character exploration, interactions, and development—not through shortcuts or OOC knowledge.

•  Paying for or offering to sell location information, whether in-character or out-of-character, is considered metagaming and disrupts the progression of others.

•  You may not advertise, leak, or distribute these locations via Discord, streams, or in-game methods.

42.2

Illegal locations are tied to character development and storyline progression.

Circumventing this process diminishes the experience for everyone and may result in a suspension or ban.

43Low Effort Roleplay

43.1

All players are expected to invest meaningful effort into their character development and interactions. Roleplay should be thoughtful, immersive, and based on logical in-character decisions—not driven by constant conflict or the desire to “win” scenarios.

Examples of Low-Effort Roleplay include:

•  Fleeing from police or escalating to violence during minor infractions (e.g., running from a routine traffic stop or opening fire over a speeding ticket).

•  Initiating shootouts without proper buildup, dialogue, or escalation.

•  Constantly committing crimes without any attempt at roleplay buildup or realistic consequences.

•  Using motorcycles or supercars for every robbery, especially when done to avoid capture rather than to create meaningful RP.

•  Ignoring injury RP or treating life-threatening situations as minor inconveniences.

•  Baiting police or gangs into conflict just to initiate shootouts.

43.2

This server is not a shoot-first, ask-questions-later environment.

If your roleplay consists solely of violence, evasion, or farming payouts, without meaningful character depth or interaction, it will be considered low-effort—and may result in warnings, suspensions, or removal from the community.

44Voice ID'ing

44.1

If an individual is wearing a mask or full face covering and is dressed in an unfamiliar outfit, you may not identify them based solely on their voice.

•  Voice recognition is not valid identification if the person has taken steps to conceal their identity.

•  Even if you think you recognize their voice, you must have prior in-character context or visible clues to confirm their identity.

•  This applies regardless of past interactions—outfit changes and masks reset assumptions unless proven through roleplay.

44.2

Treat every masked individual as unknown unless you have solid in-character justification to prove otherwise. Voice ID is not a shortcut for lazy RP.

45Cop Baiting

45.1

Deliberately provoking law enforcement to get a reaction or initiate a pursuit is strictly prohibited. This includes performing reckless or attention-seeking actions solely for the purpose of drawing police interest, disrupting RP scenes, or forcing unnecessary escalation.

Examples of cop baiting include, but are not limited to:

•  Doing burnouts, donuts, or revving loudly near officers for no IC reason.

•  Driving aggressively or erratically past police checkpoints or active scenes.

•  Circling crime scenes or hanging around PD events with no RP purpose.

•  Taunting officers or intentionally violating traffic laws in front of them just to provoke a chase.

•  Repeatedly inserting yourself into police RP scenarios without justification.

45.2

Cop RP should be built on meaningful interactions, not forced chaos.

If you don’t have a reason to engage police through natural RP progression, then you shouldn’t be trying to bait them into responding.

46No Intent to Roleplay (NITRP)

46.1

This is a roleplay-first server. If you are not here to engage in meaningful, immersive, and story-driven roleplay, then this is not the server for you.

NITRP includes, but is not limited to:

•  Logging in solely to troll, provoke others, or create chaos.

•  Constantly breaking character, stalling RP, or refusing to engage when approached.

•  Treating the server like a PvP game or loot simulator rather than a roleplay environment.

•  Ignoring RP opportunities in favor of grinding, avoiding consequences, or escalating every situation to violence.

•  Failing to respond to /me or RP interactions from others without a valid reason.

46.2

You are expected to contribute to the city’s narrative, not disrupt it. Repeated signs of NITRP may result in removal from the community—temporary or permanent.

47Fail RP (FRP)

47.1

Fail RP refers to any action that breaks immersion, defies realism, or disregards proper roleplay standards. It disrupts the flow of storytelling and undermines the integrity of the server.

Examples of Fail RP include, but are not limited to:

•  Performing actions that are physically impossible or unrealistic (e.g., passing items through thick glass, walls, or fences such as prison or jail cell windows).

•  Changing clothes or accessories mid-scenario (e.g., switching outfits during an active chase or shootout).

•  Using items or mechanics in ways that would not be feasible in real life (e.g., pulling rifles from your pants with no bag).

•  Refusing to roleplay injury or pretending to be fine after being shot, hit by a car, or involved in a crash.

•  Ignoring /me or /do commands from other players—especially EMS, law enforcement, or judiciary personnel.

•  Roleplaying completely out-of-era or supernatural characters (e.g., superheroes, zombies, vampires, etc.).

•  Using AI-generated or unrealistic character portraits that do not reasonably represent your freemode character or break immersion.

47.2

Fail RP shows a lack of effort, realism, and care for others’ stories

Repeat violations may lead to escalating punishments, including temporary suspensions or permanent bans.

48Field of View (FOV)

48.1

Any attempt to alter your character’s Field of View (FOV) outside of the default GTA V in-game settings slider is strictly prohibited.

This includes, but is not limited to:

•  Using the F8 console command or external tools to change your FOV, especially to gain an advantage while aiming down sights or during combat.

•  Modifying files, scripts, or using external overlays to increase visual awareness beyond what the default settings allow.

•  Applying FOV changes that give you a wider or more elevated third-person perspective than what is normally achievable through in-game options.

48.2

Modifying your FOV creates an unfair advantage in combat, reduces immersion, and is considered a form of powergaming.

Any unauthorized changes to FOV will result in disciplinary action, including possible bans. Keep your settings fair and within the bounds of the game’s default parameters.

49Vanity Items

49.1

Vanity items such as “Vanity Plate” or “Verified Birdy Token” may not be robbed or stolen.

49.2

Birdy "XP Token" selling

Posting things like 'selling coins' or 'tokens for sale' is NOT permitted on birdy.

These are global, and are not to be sold to anyone or anywhere.

50Vehicle Modifications

50.1

Any and all unauthorized or illegal vehicle modifications are strictly prohibited in Royalty Roleplay. These modifications provide an unfair advantage and break immersion for others.

Prohibited modifications include, but are not limited to:

•  Weaponized vehicles (e.g., hidden guns, mounted turrets, rocket launchers).

•  Boost systems or NOS not approved through a legal tuner or in-character event.

•  Bulletproof windows or vehicles.

•  Sonar systems or any radar/thermal-type enhancements that reveal players, police, or entities beyond normal visibility.

•  Underwater mechanics.

•  Any suspension, speed, or handling modifications not available through in-city customization or tuning shops.

•  Vehicles found to have illegal modifications will be confiscated on sight.

•  If your vehicle has a prohibited mod, you must remove it immediately or report it to staff via ticket.

50.2

Modifying your car beyond what is available through realistic, in-character means is considered exploiting and will be treated as such.

51Vehicle Misuse

51.1

While some level of aggressive or evasive driving is expected during pursuits, all vehicle use must remain within the bounds of realism. Excessive stunts, physics-defying escapes, and immersion-breaking driving will not be tolerated.

51.2

The following are considered vehicle misuse and are prohibited:

•  Launching vehicles off mountains, buildings, or unrealistic jumps—even in off-road vehicles like the Draugur.

•  Ocean dumping your vehicle to escape from law enforcement or hostile encounters (e.g., driving off piers, docks, or bridges to avoid capture).

•  Driving street cars or sports cars (e.g., Sultan, Tempesta) up steep cliffs, hiking trails, or terrain they would not reasonably handle in real life.

•  Using ramps or terrain exploits to gain unrealistic distance or access locations meant to be unreachable by standard vehicles.

•  Repeatedly flipping, ramming, or abusing vehicle physics without roleplaying the damage or mechanical consequences.

51.3

Excessive Vehicle Ramming

Players may not intentionally ram, pit, or collide with another vehicle in an unrealistic, repeated, or abusive manner.

Vehicle contact must make sense within realistic RP and not be used as a primary weapon.

Not allowed:

- Repeated ramming

- High-speed intentional collisions

- Any vehicle contact done to troll, grief, or avoid proper RP

Allowed:

- Accidental bumps with proper RP

- Police PITs following pursuit guidelines

51.4

Use common sense: if your vehicle wouldn’t survive it—or even attempt it—in real life, don’t do it here.

Unrealistic driving not only breaks immersion but can also be classified as fail RP or powergaming, and will result in disciplinary action.

52Paycheck Farming

52.1

All employees are expected to clock in only when actively working at their assigned place of employment.

Abuse of the paycheck system by staying clocked in while idle or engaging in unrelated activities is considered paycheck farming and will result in disciplinary action.

52.2

You must clock out when not physically present or actively working at your designated business location.

You may not remain clocked in while:

•  Sitting idle in another location

•  Participating in unrelated RP

•  Committing crimes or engaging in non-work activities

52.3

The only exceptions to this rule are:

•  Law Enforcement (PD/BCSO)

•  EMS Personnel

•  Department of Justice (DOJ)

•  Truckers, who must still be actively completing hauls while clocked in.

•  Crown Properties, who must be actively selling homes.

53Medical Roleplay

53.1

Royalty Roleplay expects high standards of professionalism and realism from all medical staff and players interacting with EMS.

53.2

For EMS Personnel:

•  All EMS employees must wear appropriate uniforms while on duty to maintain professionalism and public recognition.

•  EMS services are to be provided free of charge to all citizens. You may not charge for revives or medical treatment.

•  EMS may sell bandages only. No other items from the EMS armory (e.g., medkits, clot packs, trauma kits) may be sold, traded, or given out.

•  EMS may not employ active criminals or gang-affiliated individuals in any capacity.

53.3

For All Players (Including EMS):

•  You are required to roleplay all injuries realistically, in line with the severity of the situation.

•  Example: A car accident with visible trauma may require a limp or limited mobility afterward.

•  ICU or extended hospital stays should result in visible and lasting symptoms for a reasonable duration.

•  Failure to RP injuries, or immediately returning to normal behavior after serious trauma, will be considered fail RP and no intent to roleplay medical injuries.

54Theft

54.1

Robbing for Personal Gain

Robberies conducted for personal gain are permitted only when supported by meaningful, story‑driven roleplay. Any situation where items are taken must meet the following standards:

- There must be clear roleplay development leading into the encounter — not random or opportunistic targeting

- The interaction must contribute to ongoing or future storyline progression

- Loot‑driven, low‑effort robberies are not allowed — you may not rob someone simply because you are unwilling to earn money through RP or server systems

- Cannot rob item(s) that were paid with IRL money. (Vanity Plates, DoubleXP Token, Birdy Token, Vehicle Token, Seasonal Melee Weapons, etc)

- Players should not carry items they are not willing to lose, as robberies with proper RP may result in item loss

- Cannot rob any identification/drivers cards, phone or radio

This policy ensures high‑quality criminal roleplay, fairness, and meaningful consequences for all parties involved.

54.2

You may not loot or rob another player solely for personal gain. This includes, but is not limited to:

•  Looting food or drinks when your character is not hungry or thirsty.

•  Taking materials or items from players (including law enforcement) without roleplay that supports why your character needs them.

•  Looting an officer for 2 body armor and 5 magazines.

•  Taking melee weapons or tasers from downed officers without a purpose tied to active roleplay.

•  Looting in the middle of active scenes without proper initiation or justification.

•  Holding up someone and robbing them with no prior roleplay reason or build up.

Robbing Law Enforcement

Criminals may rob law enforcement officers when supported by strong, story‑driven roleplay. These situations must meet the same standards expected in all hostile RP:

- Robbing an officer requires clear RP buildup — not random targeting or loot‑hunting

- Officers may be stripped of armor, weapons, and ammunition when the RP justifies it

- Certain items may not be taken, including GSR kits, testing tools, and other essential forensic equipment

- Randomly killing an officer solely to take equipment is not permitted

- Criminals must accept the risk of retaliation, investigations, and raids that may follow.

- Officers are expected to manage their loadouts responsibly; do not carry gear you are not prepared to lose

- Criminals are held to the same standard — no robbing simply because you don’t want to earn money through RP

This policy ensures fairness, accountability, and meaningful consequences for both criminals and law enforcement, while promoting immersive, story‑focused roleplay.

54.3

Medical Staff Looting is Prohibited:

•  You may not loot EMS or Los Santos Medical employees under any circumstance. This includes while they are downed, unconscious, or incapacitated. EMS are not part of combat roleplay and should not be treated as lootable entities.

54.4

Theft must always be driven by roleplay, not greed or mechanics.

Abuse of looting systems will face disciplinary actions.

55Trunk Checking

55.1

Stealing from trunks is allowed.

Players are expected to take full responsibility for securing their belongings. Items left in vehicles are no longer protected; have some responsibility for your belongings. There does not need to be any prior roleplay to stealing from trunks. Garages exist, put your vehicle away or belongings in your vehicles away safely securing them.

No, you may not trunk check/steal items out of Police/EMS cars.

56Corruption Roleplay

56.1

Corruption roleplay is strictly prohibited for all government employees, including but not limited to law enforcement (PD/BCSO), EMS, and DOJ personnel.

•  You may not engage in any form of illegal activity while employed in a government or whitelisted role.

•  You may not sell, give away, or trade government-issued equipment, weapons, vehicles, or access to restricted areas.

•  You may not falsify documents, tamper with evidence, or misuse your position for personal or criminal gain.

•  Any attempt to use your job or authority to assist criminals, gangs, or personal agendas will result in immediate removal from your position and further disciplinary action.

56.2

Royalty Roleplay maintains high standards of professionalism and realism for all public service roles.

If you’re unsure whether a scenario might be considered corruption, assume it’s not allowed and open a support ticket for clarification.

57Ban Appeals

57.1

Temporary Bans

If a player receives a temporary ban (non-permanent), they may submit a ban appeal by opening a ban appeal ticket. A staff member who was not involved in the original decision will review the situation impartially and determine whether the ban should be lifted, reduced, or upheld based on the circumstances.

57.2

Permanent Bans on the Discord Server

If you are permanently banned on Discord, please fill out this form. If you don’t get a response, you aren’t unbanned.

58Third-Party Ban Appeals

58.1

Permanent Bans on the FiveM Server

Staff does not discuss the outcome of any tickets, including your friend’s ban. If a player is banned from Royalty RP, they must submit their own ban appeal. Friends, group members, or any third parties are not permitted to open appeals on someone else’s behalf. We do not discuss bans or disciplinary actions with anyone other than the banned individual.

Attempting to argue, appeal, or disrespect staff on behalf of another player is strictly prohibited and may result in further disciplinary action against those involved.

58.2

Permanent Bans on the Discord Server

If a player has been permanently banned from the Discord and is unable to submit their own appeal, their ban will remain in effect. Please understand that you may not have full context or access to all information regarding their ban. For reasons of privacy and integrity.

We do not disclose disciplinary details to third parties, and all ban appeals must be submitted directly by the individual involved—no exceptions.

59Bannable Punishments

59.1

All punishments due to rule violations are up to staff discretion.
